These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of pinplacemaps.com and your purchase of products from Pinplace ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Pinplace designs and sells premium pin travel maps and related accessories. Our products are crafted in the EU and sold through our online store at pinplacemaps.com.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order. By using the Site, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
We make every effort to display our maps, colours, and sizes accurately. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and lighting. Product dimensions are listed on each product page:
Each map includes 100 push pins in the colour selected at checkout unless otherwise stated. Personalization, when selected, is produced according to the text and style you submit.
All prices are shown in EUR unless otherwise indicated. Prices include applicable VAT for EU customers where required. Shipping costs are shown at checkout.
An order is an offer to purchase. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example, due to pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock limitations) and will refund any payment if we do so.
We reserve the right to change prices and product availability at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payment is processed securely through our payment partners at checkout. By submitting payment information, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
Delivery terms are described in our Shipping and delivery policy. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address you provide, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Our return policy is set out in Returns and exchange. By placing an order, you acknowledge that return shipping is paid by the customer and that a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply to maps returned with pinholes.
Personalized maps are made to your specifications. Please review spelling, names, and text carefully before submitting your order. We are not responsible for errors in text supplied by the customer.
Personalized items may require additional processing time before shipment.
All content on the Site — including designs, logos, text, images, and map artwork — is owned by Pinplace or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with Site operation, or use the Site for unlawful purposes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pinplace shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.
We stand behind the quality of our maps and offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use. Warranty claims should be sent to hello@pinplacemaps.com with photos and your order number.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the country where Pinplace is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from mandatory protections of the laws of your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
